Career Pathways Through Registered Apprenticeship Programs

REWUI is developing U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Programs to prepare the next generation of skilled professionals for careers in the renewable energy and clean energy industries. These apprenticeship pathways provide structured training, classroom instruction, and paid on-the-job learning, creating a clear progression from entry-level employment to advanced technical and leadership roles while enabling employers to recruit a highly skilled workforce.

Battery Energy Storage

REWUI's Battery Energy Storage apprenticeship is officially registered and approved by the U.S. Department of Labor. This program prepares workers for careers in the installation, maintenance, and operation of large-scale battery storage systems — a critical component of the modern clean energy grid. Apprentices earn industry-recognized credentials while receiving paid on-the-job training alongside classroom instruction, building the technical skills needed to support America's growing energy storage infrastructure.
